Established in 1989, Cortex is dedicated to helping clientele achieve a beautiful image. Owner Marion Ventulett's philosophy, "The more time we take to nurture ourselves, the better we feel. We become able to project a better self-image to the world around us."

Cortex strives to foster a creative environment. For more than a decade, Ventulett has retained a core staff of professional stylists who are also writers, musicians, photographers, painters, sculptors and teachers. Ventulett also is inspired by family member Tom Ventulett, renowned Atlanta architect and artist.

Cortex proudly participates with Locks of Love and Wigs for Kids, two non-profit organizations who provide hairpieces for children who are suffering from long term medical hair loss.
